How much does rooftop solar cost after the subsidy?

Cost depends on system size and kit type — DCR kits with battery hybrids cost more than grid-tied non-DCR systems. After the central PM Surya Ghar Yojana subsidy (up to ₹78,000) and, in Delhi and UP, a further ₹30,000 state top-up, most homes break even in 36–48 months. How long does installation take?

Once your site visit and subsidy paperwork are done, physical installation usually takes 1 to 3 days depending on system size and roof complexity. Net metering commissioning with your DISCOM typically adds a few more weeks on top.

Is my roof suitable for solar?

Most flat and sloped RCC rooftops with reasonable sun exposure work well. We check shading, structural load and available area during your free site visit before recommending a system size.

What is net metering, and do I need to handle it myself?

Net metering lets you export surplus solar power to the grid and draw it back when you need it, so your bill reflects net consumption. We file and coordinate the entire net metering application with your local DISCOM — you don't deal with the portal.

What subsidy am I eligible for under PM Surya Ghar Yojana?

The central government pays ₹30,000/kW for the first 2 kW and ₹18,000 for the 3rd kW, capped at ₹78,000. Delhi and Uttar Pradesh residents get a further ₹30,000 state top-up. Only DCR-panel systems qualify — see our subsidy page for the full breakdown.

Can I pay in EMIs instead of upfront?

Yes. Alongside paying upfront (CapEx), you can spread the cost over fixed monthly instalments through a financing partner over 3–10 years — you own the system from day one, and your electricity savings offset a large part of the EMI.

Do you provide maintenance after installation?

Yes — every system we install can be backed by ongoing operations & maintenance support: scheduled panel cleaning and inverter servicing, performance reporting, and warranty coordination directly with manufacturers.
